Reserve your spot.
Orb One is a concept we are building toward 2030 – a flying sphere with no exposed rotors and a soft, self-guided landing. It is not for sale yet. Reserve your spot to be among the first contacted when prototypes, pricing, and pre-orders are real – and to help shape what we build next.
Reserving is free. There is no payment, no card, and no commitment to buy – you are just claiming an early place in line. We will email you honest progress updates and reach out first when Orb One is ready to order. Unsubscribe any time; we never sell your details.
Built in the open, milestone by milestone.
Where Orb One is today and what has to be proven before it ships. We'll keep this honest as it changes.
Concept and industrial design
Orb One (BD-1) form language locked – seamless TrueShell, single EquatorSense band, hidden SeamRoute seams. Renders and ergonomics only; this is a concept, not a shipping product.
CompletePropulsion bench proving
Validating whether fully internal fans channeled through hairline seams can lift and hold a 130 mm sphere. Honestly the hardest open problem – thrust, efficiency, and acoustics under active test.
In progress nowAutonomy and SoftSet prototype
Tethered and caged flight rigs to prove EquatorSense avoidance and SoftSet soft-landing behavior. Flight time and payload still below target and being characterized.
PlannedSealed unit and closed beta
First fully enclosed, collision-resistant units with OTA firmware in a small real-world beta. Refining battery, capture quality, and wind tolerance against the targets above.
PlannedOrb One launch
Targeted consumer release of the BD-1 if the propulsion and flight-time targets hold. Specs here are 2030 design targets, not guarantees – we will publish what actually ships.
